How does agentless metadata extraction work? Is it secure?
Yes — by design. TrustQuant connects using read-only cloud APIs (AWS, Azure, GCP) and secure inspection scripts. Our architecture is privacy-by-design: we never write to your files, edit configurations, or touch database content. We only extract security-relevant metadata, keeping your business data private and in full compliance with the UK GDPR / Data Protection Act 2018.
Does TrustQuant require installing heavy software agents on our servers?
No. Our Agentless Metadata Extraction Protocol (AMEP) runs entirely out-of-band. There are no performance-heavy background agents to install — meaning zero server CPU drag, no added attack surface from agent software, and a setup designed to take under 10 minutes.
What is Remediation Funding Logic and how does it help fund security?
Most cloud architectures hide financial waste — over-provisioned instances, unused storage, idle database hosts. TrustQuant identifies this waste (FinOps) and calculates the monthly savings available. It then lists the critical hardening upgrades those savings can pay for, helping you strengthen your posture from money you were already spending.
Can a TrustQuant Resilience Rating really lower our business costs?
It can improve your eligibility for better terms. By maintaining a high rating, you can present your verified SME Trust Passport to participating cyber-insurance underwriters to become eligible for premium discounts of up to 25% (our programme target with participating underwriters), based on your verified risk — and give lenders the risk assurance they need to approve commercial applications. Final pricing always rests with the underwriter or lender.Pilot target
